Although this article was short, and will go more in depth after the actual interview, I found it important that the start was finally reaching out to clarify what actually went on. In my opinion any form of violence by a boyfriend is unacceptable, but for a while it seemed as if the star was going to forgive him. Now this interview will show fans and audiences if the media was even close to accurate in there coverage of the event. Also I found it very smart and interesting that her " interview coincides with the debut of her new single, Russian Roulette, from her upcoming album, Rated R. " Music is a great tool of expression, and I give her props for reaching out not with just an interview but a album expressing her real feelings on the issue.
This interview will either revel the media, and news for that matter in a negative way or positive way depending on how closely the information provided in the interview coincides with what was printed almost a year ago in February.
There was so much speculation and drama surrounding this whole case that it was hard to keep up with. I am kind of looking forward to hearing what Rihanna has to say about the whole situation, and for her to clear up a lot of the rumors.
ReplyDeleteOf course shes doing an interview right before her album comes out. What a great marketing idea to turn her abuse into a record selling campaign. I'm not going to lie, it's a great idea but I cant say I'm surprised.
ReplyDeleteyeah i think her PR people told her to go ahead and come out and get the buzz going again for her album. The music industry and people in it are extremely shady and I can't speak on what happened between her and Chris Brown, but I can say that violence like that should never be acceptable, unless she was trying to kill him or something. Which I doubt she was. But, you never know.
